Area Tool

The Area Tool allows the user to compute the area of COP profiles.

This tool allows two types of area computation:

Both tools work for a single row of the COP.

The first one should be used when the user is interested to compute the area of a single profile with respects to a reference line.

In order to compute the area of a selected COP row, the user should define the number of points that represent the interpolated line.

The second one allows the user to compute the area of a closed profile. This profile can be defined by a list of several profiles.

Note:
The computed area on closed profiles could have deviations when the profile is not star-shaped.
